Once you know to look, you will see the Pica Dry refillable automatic pencil peeking out of many woodworkers’ pockets. Pica pencils write on almost any surface, no matter how greasy, wet, rough, glossy or dusty.
The Dry features many pleasing design touches: The pencil feeds the lead with a simple push of a button and its sheath cap protects against dust and moisture. The pencil is equipped with a tiny and durable sharpener at the front of the cap.
The bundle packages offer a 3030 Dry Pencil with a package of refills in a reusable plastic box standard 2B graphite leads (10-pc); an 8-pc mixed selection of color leads - 3 blue, 2 white and 3 green leads (#4040); or 8-pc mixed graphite (4 leads) and 2 red and 2 yellow. You can also get a 10-pc Graphite only refill pack.
We are also offering a set of 5 colored caps in white, yellow, red, blue and dark green for quick identification at the trouser pocket, workbench or tool belt.
A better mechanical pencil…the first mechanical pencil I've really loved. What’s different is the lead: its size and hardness are perfect for use on wood. It’s soft enough to mark a clear line on dark woods and thin enough to make precise lines. At the same time, the lead isn’t so thin and soft that it breaks every time you hit a grain line. I haven’t touched my old-fashioned pencil since I got this one.
