How much Osmo will I need for my project?

How much Osmo finish you will need will depend upon several factors:

• The type and condition of the wood - is it rough or smooth? Untreated or already finished?
• The size of the area to be finished
• The number of coats desired (the sweet spot is generally two coats, but two coats applied with a rag or white pad is generally a bit less material than two coats applied by brush or roller)
• The specific Osmo product to be used - Polyx Oil, Top Oil, etc.

In case the Osmo product line were not confusing enough, Osmo products are sold in different size cans - and these cans are in metric quantities.

• Top Oil is sold only in .5L cans
• Polyx Oil is sold in .125L, .75L and 2.5L cans
• Wood Wax Finish is sold in .125L and .75L cans (2.5L cans may also be available - please contact us with special requests)
• Osmo Oil Stain is sold in .125L and 1 liter cans
