  • Whiteside

Whiteside's carbide tip router bits give a smooth finish and rapid material removal. The two straight carbide flutes are great for through cuts, cleaning up the edge of a workpiece or any job that doesn't require plunge cutting. These are the perfect bit for use in a router table.

Whiteside manufactures every component of their bits with the end user in mind. Carbide tips are induction brazed to the steel shank, creating an tough bit, with a durable edge. To prevent dulling, Whiteside grinds their straight flute bits with a convex grind at the cutting edge. This is a technically complicated process, and Whiteside developed a cam actuated grinder specifically for the purpose. Why go to all this trouble? A convex grind click for picture leaves more carbide to back up the cutting edge, so your bit will stay sharp longer.
