Some Moldings Made Using the Six Piece Poole & Williams Windsor Beader Cutter Set
This modern set of six beader cutters is designed to fit both our modern reproduction and both the first or second type antique Poole & Williams Windsor Beaders. Four of the cutters are copies of the original P&W designs - and we've added a scraper blade and a six-sided, grind your own profile "blank" cutter.

Two parallel beads are made in four operations.
This profile can make four beads at a time.
This profile can make two beads at a time.
This cutter is ground on both sides with a small hand grinder or with a round file to make a sharp edge. The cutter offers a great variety of profiles enabling the user to make multiple beads, coves and ogees in one operation.
Depending on how it is positioned and angled this cutter can achieve many different profiles. This is another place where careful layout and removing some of the waste with a rabbet plane or a plow plane first can mean both less effort and a more consistent result.
Moldings can be stacked to create even more elaborate profiles.
