Japanese Laminated Knives

These elegant marking knives make layout work a pleasure. Their knife marks are precise and clearly define where a cut should be. They are hollow ground, so they are easy to sharpen, and they hug the guide.

We carry two styles, both for right- handed people. The first is a simple laminated blade. A hard-steel cutting edge is forge-laminated to a hammer-decorated top piece which is not only elegant, but also gives the tool strength. We also carry a cased version of the same tool, which is in a scabbard. You will find these tools extremely useful in your shop and a great gift for someone else’s shop. Made in Japan.
