Festool 5” Cordless Random Orbit Sander ETSC 2 125

The 5” ETSC 2 sander offers the convenience of a cordless sander along with valuable features like a built-in LED light that enables you to spot trouble spots while you can still fix them.

Unlike the original ETSC cordless sander, the ETSC 2 is powered by a “standard” Festool 18 volt battery that you can use in other Festool cordless tools, not the sander-specific “Ergo” style.

The sander also has the features you expect: a high-performance sander with minimal noise; a durable, brushless EC-TEC motor; comfortable, ergonomic one-handed operation. The low-profile sander is designed to reduce fatigue, with vibration protection that enables you to keep working until you get the job done. Your workpiece is also protected, with a sanding pad break that keeps the pad from spinning too quickly when started up.

The sander’s dust collection bag is made from durable cotton fabric and is intended for long term use. (Just vacuum it or take out the plastic closure and wash it.)

The Basic version of this tool includes the ETSC 2 125 Cordless Random Orbit Sander with StickFix Soft sanding pad; the SB-Longlife ETSC 2 Dust Collection Bag (578094); the PR ETSC 2 125 Protector (#578092) packed in an M 187 systainer.

The Plus version includes the the ETSC 2 125 Cordless Random Orbit Sander with StickFix Soft sanding pad; the SB-Longlife ETSC 2 Dust Collection Bag (578094); the PR ETSC 2 125 Protector (#578092); two BP 18 Li 4,0 HPC-ASI Battery Packs; and the TCL 6 DUO Rapid Charger packed in an M 187 systainer.

Eccentric motion speed: 6 000 - 10 000 RPM. Sanding stroke: 9/64" (3.5 mm). The sander has variable built-in light modes (full brightness or dimmed) and can be modified further with coordination with the Festool app.
