The Adapter’s ratcheting locking ring mechanism with flexible rubber grip adapts to most saws, sanders, routers, etc (with openings from 1/4" through 2 1/2") and the fixed end attaches to any vacuum hose with an inner diameter of 2 1/4". The Adapter works well with oddly shaped dust ports and for those who have tools and vacs from different manufacturers.
