Narex Richter Chisels - Boxed Set of 6 in a Canvas Roll

Narex Richter chisels feature blades crafted from high-quality chrome-vanadium (Cr-V) steel, cryogenically treated to 62 HRc. This cryogenic treatment enhances the steel's molecular structure, resulting in improved hardness, toughness, and overall performance. The company is so proud of the chisels they named them after the company’s founder, Vaclav Richter. The chisels are known for their exceptional balance between durability and sharpness, enabling them to withstand demanding tasks and heavy-duty woodworking projects - ideal for professional woodworkers or those working with tougher materials.

The Richter chisels exhibit exceptional edge retention and are less prone to deformation, making them well-suited for continuous and rigorous use. The super-thin sides of the blade enable the chisels to reach into tight spaces. The backs are very, very slightly concave so flattening to the edge is very quickly done. The chisels’ comfortable Ash handles (enhanced by stainless steel ferrules and leather shock washers) have an ergonomic design that minimizes hand fatigue and withstand mallet blows.

The set of six chisels includes ⅛, ¼, ⅜, ½, ¾ and 1” chisels in a canvas tool roll. Overall lengths range from 10” - 11” with blade lengths from 4 ⅝” - 5 ½”. The chisels arrive factory ground and for best results require a final hand honing and sharpening.
