Festool Vlies (Fleece) 5" Sanding Pads for Scouring and Finish Application

Festool Vlies, aka “fleece,” is a woven elastic aluminum oxide fiber mat with embedded abrasive particles (similar to Norton BearTex).

The Vlies product line is admittedly very confusing because it uses both colors and numbered grits. The numbered products, of which we have few because they have mostly been discontinued, are for deep pore cleaning on natural woods, veneers and contours; for removing rust and tarnish; and de-greasing metal, wood and paint.

The Vlies Green and White, on the other hand, are for the application of polish. Use the Green for the initial application or scuff sanding after the first coat and the White for final polishing.

The pads are very forgiving of uneven surfaces.

Suitable for use with the ETS 125, ETSC 125, ETS EC 125 and Rotex 125. Packages of 10 pads.
