Teak Oil Spray

Osmo Teak Oil Spray is a convenient spray that protects outdoor surfaces made of hardwoods like teak, softwoods and pressure-impregnated woods. The oil spray penetrates deeply into the wood surfaces, regulating moisture and preventing swelling and shrinkage.

As with all Osmo oils, Teak Oil Spray is based on natural oils and offers a microporous, breathable finish that does not peel, crack, flake or blister. When dry, the finish is safe for humans, animals and plants and is suitable for children’s toys. Teak Oil leaves a glowing Satin finish.

Note: use on clean bare wood or previously oiled wood only. If the wood has other treatments, you will need to sand to bare wood. Wood that has not been treated for many years may require a light sanding to remove loose wood fibers. Wood that has grayed because of previous sun damage should be first treated with Osmo Wood Reviver Gel. Some new hardwoods may not be ready to absorb additional oil, so will need to be degreased with Osmo Brush Cleaner or weather for approximately 4 weeks before spraying. Because this is a clear coating, it does not offer UV protection. If you need UV protection, Osmo suggests using a pigmented Decking Oil close to the wood's natural color as a base coat.
