Japanese V Spear-Point Marking Knife (15 mm)

A nice addition to our offerings of marking knives, this durable V spear-point marking knife (shirabiki) made of Blue Steel gives you extremely precise scribe lines and helpfully cuts the wood board’s fibers so that your saw or chisel cuts cleanly as well. The blade is hand forged from a lamination of blue steel and soft steel.

Use it for marking dovetails, mortises, tenons, etc. The thin design gives you good reach in narrow applications, and the spear-point design means the knife is comfortably used by both righties and lefties.

7-1/4" long and 5/8" wide. Extremely sharp. Made in Japan.
