A sharp knife is one of life's great joys. Flexcut Carving Knives come razor sharp, and we carry Flexcut's entire catalog of individual knives. Buying your sharp, a-la-carte, is a good way to build the ultimate carving kit, or to attack a project with exactly the blades you want.

Flexcut makes its blades from 1095 spring steel with a small grain structure that sharpens beautifully. We're proud to see such expert metal work and heat treatment in an American Made carving knife. The 58-60 (Depending on blade style) HRC hardness of the blades holds a very sharp edge, and is easy to maintain on a strop.

Flexcut carving knives utilize three styles of wooden handle to suit use the blade was designed for, which is especially welcome in the push styles. Most of Flexcut's knives are double bevel, and can be used ambidextrously. The few exceptions, such as the Hook Knife, are sold handed. Right-handed carvers should choose a right-handed tool to cut towards yourself or a left-handed tool to cut away from yourself.

The Utility Knife is the excellent KN12 cutting knife, packaged with a leather sheath that slides securely onto a belt with a steel clip. Its a great tool to keep on you as you move about your shop.
