This one of walnut, about 1760, is attributed to Thomas White of Hertford, North Carolina who received his training in Newport, Rhode Island. H.30 1/4, W.25, Seat Rail 16 5/8. This piece is part of the collection at the Museum of Early Decorative Arts (MESDA) in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
