This cute little chest, not quite as large as its name, walnut, another real country piece, especially valuable historically because the hinges are rare ones known to antiquarians as “dovetail hinges". This piece is part of the collection at the Museum of Early Decorative Arts (MESDA) in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
