About the sander: The Festool ETS EC 6" brushless motor sanders are made for the punishing constant-use in professional workshops and on job sites. The compact handle design, lightweight and electronic vibration control system make this a work-all-day sander. EC TEC brushless motors deliver continuous service, and constant power, driving the abrasive pad at an adjustable 6,000 to 10,000 RPM. Best of all the ETS EC sanders integrate seamlessly with all Festool Dust Extractors (aka Vacuums) and 150 mm diameter abrasives to deliver for automatic on/off dust collection, and access to a range of abrasives from 40 to 4000 grit. The 5 mm stroke delivers lightning fast finishing, and light weight of an air-powered system, but without the expense of footprint of a compressor and air hoses. Electronic controls smooth start up, reduce vibration, and and in conjunction with the carbide tipped pad brake, bring the pad to a near instant stop, to reduce the chance of marring the workpiece.

About the vac: The 15 liter Festool Midi matches a highly portable vac with a compact size that makes it easy to lug up stairs, to the job site or into quarters, while its HEPA filter keeps dust out of the air, out of your lungs and off your workpieces. The Midi features an integrated Bluetooth module for remote wireless activation, touch panel controls for suction level, on/off and Bluetooth pairing, a hose storage compartment with flat top, a manual filter cleaning mechanism and an easy-to-change filter. The vac’s anti-static braided sleeve hose measures 11 ½ ft.
