When a router does most of the work on a hinge mortise, it always leaves one thing behind: rounded corners. The Virutex RC29M is the dedicated solution - a purpose-built corner chisel that squares up those radiused corners quickly and cleanly, leaving a crisp, exact 90?° angle every time.

Designed specifically for cleaning up the radii left by router bits, the RC29M delivers sharp, square edges on hinge recesses for a truly professional finish on door and window installations. It handles radiuses up to 20mm with a maximum cutting depth of 6mm, and the blade measures 20 × 20mm (25/32"). It works equally well on both strike and hinge mortises.
