Flag Socks by Kapital

Nice socks provide a foundation of comfort, and these 100% cotton socks, by Kapital of Japan, are nice. The flag stripe pattern is knit from cozy yarn-thread, and one sock from each pair has a blue heel, which is printed with 14 stars.

We scratched out heads at the numerology behind the 14 stars, but the Gramercy workshop's familial ties to Vermont helped us decide that the stars are a tribute to the 14th state.

But all of that is small fry compared to having comfortable fashionable feet as you go about your day.
