Scoff if you will about buying a fancy work lamp, but watch how quickly your workmates “borrow” it or how quickly you will vow never to return to using your flashlight app or flashlight-in-your-teeth. Whether you work under a cabinet or in a crawlspace, up in an attic or outdoors, the SysLite KAL II is a cordless, ultra portable work lamp whose small size and big power make it an indispensable jobsite accessory.

Festool assumes that you’ll be subjecting the SysLite to some construction roughhousing. Its body is both impact and water resistant. It can cast a beam of powerful, consistent white light (5,000 Kelvin) wherever you need it with a 170-degree dispersion that illuminates space without a blinding glare. Use it to catch finishing imperfections inside a cabinet or just brighten up a potentially hazardous dark working condition.

The KAL II has many battery charge options for the internal 7.2 V battery for maximum operational readiness. Use it with the wall charger (included), car charger (included) or most standard 12 - 18 V Festool batteries (not included). 2 1.5 watt LEDs and expect 110 minutes (1.8 hours) of bright light and the high setting and up to 290 minutes (4.8 hours) on the low setting.The run time can be doubled, tripped or nearly quadrupled by using external slide-battery pack from the Festool drills. Charging time is approximately two hours.

The KAL II is only 6"x"4"x3" large and is designed to be able to just sit on a surface at a bunch of angles. For more versatility, there is a standard tripod mount on the side of the unit.

The accessory magnetic base attaches to the SysLite and will allow you to fixture the light on any iron or steel surface and position the light securely in any direction. The base includes a steel keeper, which is threaded for a tripod mount.

The KAL II comes with a wall charger, 12V car charger and a carrying bag.
