Platin is a foam-backed, silicone carbide based abrasive with a stearate coating specially developed for high-gloss finishes on closed surface materials. Think plaster, solid surface countertops, fiberglass, plastics, etc. plastics and fiberglass, as well as fillers and finishes. Platin is designed to prevent clogging, ensuring durability and consistently excellent sanding results.

Available in 400, 500, 1000, 2000 and 4000 grits and compatible with all Festool 5” sanders.
