Sanding curved or intricate surfaces - think moldings, raised panels, spindles, radius edges, turned items, sculptures, etc. - can be very tedious and a real challenge with stiff, flat abrasives. Granat Profile is designed to help you sand these surfaces without skipping or gouging. Festool has taken Granat abrasives and backed it with a 1/2" layer of flexible polyurethane foam backing. soft foam. Ensuring that you make even, consistent sanding contact with the wood. The result is a smooth, even finish without the risk of flattening or rounding over the fine details. Because the Granat is bonded to the foam to deliver fast material removal and long abrasive life, meaning you spend less time sanding and more time finishing.

You can use Profile on a wide range of materials - wood, paint, plastic, acrylic, solid surface, fillers, and repair compounds and a variety of coatings.

Granat Profile comes in 10 piece packages of three Grit designations: Medium (comparable to 120 - 180 grit), Fine (comparable to 240 - 320) and Superfine (comparable to 500-600 grit) and a 10 piece mixed assortment package of the three grits.
