Festool HK 55 & HKC 55 Carpentry Saws

The HK is a saw that makes precise, repeated cuts - and when coupled with the FSK Guide Rails with integrated angle stops, HK saws bring an exceptionally high degree of efficiency, repeatability, accuracy, and quality of cut.

The saw has historically come in both corded and cordless versions, but the corded is currently on hiatus. The TS60 can use the FSK tracks, so you may find this a better corded alternative.

If you have the anti-kickback version of the TS55 or TSC55, you can use the blades interchangeably. (Older versions of the TS55 and TSC55 take thicker-kerf blades that can't be used on the HK.) Although the HK saw can be used with any Festool track, the FSK track is specially designed to snap directly onto the base of the saw so that you can wield the entire unit as one. The FSK has a miter stop that is brutally easy to use, making it possible to cut accurate compound miters off of only one mark. The angle stops on the underside of the track butt up against the side of your lumber, providing quick, stable, and repeatable registration for angles from -45 degrees to 60 degrees. The need for a rafter square is completely eliminated. After pushing through a cut on the FSK, the spring-loaded track jumps back to its original position so you’re ready to keep hogging through lumber (it looks exactly as pro as it sounds). FSK tracks are available in three sizes if you’re working with chipboard or large applications.

Some great features to bear in mind: The cutting depth adjustment has a plunge function, and the pendulum hood is remotely controlled, keeping both your hands far away from the spinning blade. The miter angle adjustment has a rock-solid central clamp point, allowing for accurate angles from 0 - 50?°.

As with most cordless Festool tools, you can get the cordless tool either with or without the battery and charger. In addition, you can get the saw in a package with the FSK track.

HKC 55 EB-F-Basic includes the cordless HK saw, the HW standard 18 tooth saw blade and the hex key WAF5 packed in a Systainer. No battery pack or charger.

HKC 55 5,2 EBI-F-Set-FSK 250 includes the cordless HK saw, the HW standard 18 tooth saw blade, two 18 volt, 5.2Ah Bluetooth batteries, one TCL 6 charger and the hex key WAF5 packed in a Systainer, and the FSK 250 mm (9 7/8") guide rail.
