Festool CXS 12 Cordless Drill

In case you were wondering: you bought into Festool's 18V battery system. Is the CXS12 really worth getting involved with a whole different battery commitment? Yes, it is!

It's so lightweight and nimble. No more fatigue! The CXS 12V drill keeps the nimble profile of the discontinued 10.5V featherweight CXS and increases the torque. It’s still quite compact, with a length of 6-5/32" (15.6 cm) and a height of 7" (17.7 cm), and fits into narrow spaces and corners, but adds the impressive performance ensured by the powerful, brushless and long-lasting EC-TEC motor.

All attachments for the current 18 V line are compatible with the CXS 12. The FastFix interface and the Centrotec system ensure fast bit changes.

CXS 12 Set includes: Drill; 2 x BP 12 Li 2.5 C Battery Pack; Rapid Charger TCL 6; Centrotec BH 60 CE Imp Magnetic Bit Holder; Centrotec Chuck; AN-XS Elbow Adapter; FastFix Keyless Chuck 3/8" (10 mm); BKS SYS3 D5 PZ TX 100 CE Bit Cassette; Bit PZ 2; Belt Clip; and a lidded Systainer SYS3 DF M 187.

Note: there is no TXS12. In 2026 Festool streamlined the CXS12 offerings and discontinued a "Plus" version with fewer accessories than the "CXS 12 Set" version. There is also no "Basic" version of the CXS12 drill, just a set with batteries and charger.
