Festool Air filter System SYS-AIR

The Festool SYS-AIR is a compact and effective air filter system packed in an M437 Systainer. The system’s mobility and light weight (just 22 lbs.) makes it extremely convenient to use in both workshops and job sites, protecting your lungs and projects from airborne dust. The SYS-AIR features a powerful two-stage filter system that removes dust particles and other air contaminants.

Although the SYS-AIR may be attractive to anyone who wants a mobile air filter system, it will of course be especially attractive to Festool users because it connects so easily to other Systainers, Festool racks, Festool carts and Festool vacuums, making it simple to transport, store and integrate.

The SYS-AIR comes with two filters: the preliminary filter captures most particles, and is designed to protect the main filter. The system offers an impressive airflow of up to 400 cfm (680 m³/h), which effectively circulates air in rooms up to 613 ft2 (57 m²),with three full air changes per hour. (For larger spaces, you can run multiple units for greater coverage.) The airflow is adjustable, so you can choose between two airflow levels based on dust levels in your environment. The airflow disperses upwards in three directions (left, right, and back), minimizing dust disturbance and creating fewer disruptive air currents. The SYS-AIR comes in both HEPA and non-HEPA options. Noise level: 55 - 65 dB.

The SYS-AIR can be ceiling-mounted for stationary use in your workshop or used with a supply hose for hard-to-reach areas or dust protection barriers. The ceiling mount, which features the Systainer base plate, four threaded rods and a 24 ft power cord, allows replacement of the filters without the need to remove the unit and is compatible with most typical ceiling materials, such as concrete and wood. The flexible 19-1/2 ft (6 m) long x 7-7/8” (200 mm) air supply hose comes with an adapter base and strap and stores neatly in its M437 accessories Systainer when not in use. Both the hose and ceiling mount are optional accessories to the SYS-AIR that must be ordered separately.
