Festool Mobile Drilling Attachment MB 40-Set (#577971)

Drill vertical, end face, and series holes with precision and ease with the MB 40. Set your depth, line up your holes, and drill cleanly, whether drill straight down, into end grain, or in a needs-to-be-perfect row.

3mm and 5mm pins are included to allow perfect shelf pin spacing and hinge placement.

The MB 40 works with Festool vacs, so can hook up dust collection right to the base and work cleanly and efficiently. The FastFix design lets you quickly switch setups to drill into edges or surfaces, all with the same precision.Tool chuck locks in by hand, with no extra tools needed. Use Centrotec for quick bit swaps. The MB is very stable and it’s easy to dial in your depth with the built-in scale, stops, and adapters. And because it’s packed in a Systainer, the MB 40 is compact and easy to carry, so you can take it to any jobsite.

Zero point with readable depth up to 2", shown in mm and inches. Max. drilling diameter for softwood (Forstner drill bit) 1-9/16" (40 mm); max. drilling diameter for softwood (auger bit) 5/8" (16 mm).

Note: the MB is compatible with CXS 12, CXS/TXS 18, TPC 18/4, C 18 and T 18 with FastFix support. Not compatible with the 10.5V CXS/TXS.
