German Beech Carpernters' Mallet

While we await the return of our Marples' English Carpenters' mallets, we are using these mallets made of German beech to give a satisfying thwack to our joinery and chisels (or ice or heads of garlic or whatever).

Ultimately it doesn't matter much what you use, but the handle should be the correct length for you and the work you are doing. This mallet give you good leverage and a lot of control. German Beech. Made in India.
