Occidental Suspension Systems

If you’re looking to take some weight off your hips and save your lower back from strain, a suspension system is the way to go. Three options from Occidental fit the style and requirements of your rig, and all are made in the USA with American-made materials.

Leather Work Suspenders
Hand-crafted from thick bridle leather, these suspenders work beautifully with a full-leather tool belt, with large shoulder pads and a quick-release sternum strap for stability. Fully adjustable, these suspenders include the attachment loops that snap onto any 3” tool belt with heavy-duty spring clips. For the Adjust-to-Fit systems, D-rings are already installed and the suspenders clip right on. The rich oxblood tone of this leather will age handsomely.

Stronghold Suspenders
Combining traditional elements with engineered comfort, the Stronghold Suspenders add a comfortably padded and contoured yoke to the strength and durability of leather belting. The yoke is lined with a wicking fabric to keep sweat from building up on your back and shoulders.

The Stronghold Suspenders are highly stable and distribute weight evenly across the shoulders and upper back. A spring clip on the sternum strap makes suiting up a quick process, and the D-ring at the back is handy for hanging up the rig at the end of the day (not to be used as a safety connection). Chest-level front pockets are for stashing pencils or clipping on attachments.

An excellent combination of hand-worked leather, heavy-duty hardware, and technical materials. Leather loop connecters for a 3” belt are included.

Stronghold Light Suspenders
The Stronghold Light Suspenders are the ultra-light option, made with industrial nylon and plastic hardware for when ounces count. If your rig is already weighing you down, there’s no sense adding bulk for much-needed comfort. The yoke distributes weight evenly, is lined with moisture-wicking fabric, and has two front pockets for stashing pencils or clipping on attachments. The nylon webbing has bartacks a-plenty, and leather attachment loops slide on to any 3” tool belt.
